COFFEE SHOP – We have our very own barista, who makes great coffee, hot chocolate, tea and also milkshakes. We sell bags of ice, ice creams, cold drinks, hats, jewellery, gifts and more. LP GAS refills available.
GEMSTONE WASHING AREA: Please do not wash/sieve gemstones at your site or cabin, there is a free gemstone washing area up near the office complete with willoughbys and tables. Sieves are available for hire at the office.
WILDLIFE – there is a wildlife feeding area next to the BBQ hut. If you wish to feed birds and wallabies, please remember that some foods are dangerous to their health. We feed the wildlife at 5:00pm every evening if you wish to participate.
WASHING MACHINES are $4.00. Please DO NOT USE PERSONAL WASHING MACHINES IN THE PARK as our drainage infrastructure does not cope with the extra water.
FIRES – Fire rating is EXTREME, NO FIRES are allowed anywhere in the park, except the open fireplace in the BBQ hut.
TOILET DUMP is located 5 mins away half way between Sapphire and Rubyvale. Please do not empty into our septic system as the chemicals will kill off the bacteria, the system will smell and cease to operate.
SWIMMING POOL – Hours are from 8am – dark. No food or glass please. Children are the responsibility of parents or guardians and should be supervised at all times. Waterproof nappies are to be worn by infants when swimming.
SHOWERS – most showers have ceramic taps and only have a quarter turn – please do not force them as they will break. We recommend all children under the age of 12 are accompanied by an adult – the hot water can be very very hot.
AIR CONDITIONERS – we would be very grateful if you helped us stay eco-friendly by not running your air conditioners and heaters all day and night when not necessary.
PETS - We love having your fur babies come to visit. for the safety of other guests and your pets, please keep them on a leash at all times. You are welcome to take them into the BBQ areas, but please do not take them into the camp kitchen or pool area.
SCOOTES & BIKES - The park is on a hill with gravel roads, so bikes and scooters can be dangerous and we do not encourage their use during your stay.
